We are what we believe we are

Haha, sorry for not posting often guys. Homework and studying get in the way. Just so you know, I’m only 14 and currently in the 10th grade at school. (Just to give you a little screen shot as to how busy I am with homework/studying). I hope you are all well, please keep messaging me, I still occasionaly check up on my tumblr. I’d be happy to give advice, or offer any help in any way I can.

Another Lewis quote:

“My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust?”
C.S. Lewis

I think this is one of the most popular arguments against God, and when C.S. Lewis said this, he knew exactly what he was talking about. Often we hear others complaining about how much their life sucks, and how everything around them is falling apart. They constantly find ways to blame God, asking him the infamous question ‘Why me God?’ But refering to C.S. Lewis’ quote, I think that we can be sure that God doesn’t mean for these things to happen to you. I mean if we look, or think, really hard about our situations we can always find an answer as to why they happen.

And in the end, all these terrible things happen because God is only trying to make your stronger. He knows you’re hurting, and he knows what you’re going through is painful, and he loves you and he’s probably looking down at you and saying ‘I’m sorry you have to go through this, but I love you, and I need you to stay strong. There are better things ahead. I promise.’

So whatever terrible or unfortunate situation you may find yoruself in, always remember that even if you don’t want him to, God will always be there.

Have an amazing week, and God bless all of you.
